Fesches Madl comes from Julia Trentini's Cathy Hummels collection and is a dream come true for lovers of traditional dress. The bodice is worked in a delicate corduroy pattern with a straight neckline that makes for a lovely décolletage, and the same fine corduroy is repeated on the skirt, finished with skillfully placed trim. A simple solid-colour apron with a charivari completes the look.
Closes with a button placket featuring pretty heart-shaped buttons. Two side pockets in the skirt. Sleeveless, fitted cut — a dirndl should sit close to the body. Julia Trentini recommends a long-sleeve dirndl blouse, with or without lace.
