The Katrina is the one with the peplum — that's the highlight, and it's what gives the skirt its shape.
A straight neckline lifted by decorative trim, with a delicate small floral running across both bodice and skirt. Three trims finish the skirt hem and the apron. The plain apron keeps it balanced. Good with a traditional blouse with a balconette neckline.

THE TRENTINI BUILD
Stabilising boning at the centre front holds the shape. Generous seam allowances at the sides, centre and waist mean it can be altered and re-altered — built to last years, not a season. Double-stitched seams, ruffles worked by hand.
Fit note: a dirndl should sit skin-tight. Blouse and accessories not included.
