The Jolita is a simple bodice against an ornamented skirt — and the skirt is a paisley, which is unusual enough in trachten to be the reason you'd pick it.
A straight neckline keeps the bodice traditional. The apron contrasts against the skirt, and a shiny buckle on the apron band gives a modern belt look. A zip closes it. The bodice is a linen-cotton blend. Good with a high-necked long-sleeved blouse.

THE TRENTINI BUILD
Stabilising boning at the centre front holds the shape. Generous seam allowances at the sides, centre and waist mean it can be altered and re-altered — built to last years, not a season. Double-stitched seams, ruffles worked by hand.
Fit note: a dirndl should sit skin-tight. Blouse and accessories not included.
