The Erin works on contrast. A clean straight neckline framed by an opulent braid, above a plain bodice that keeps things contemporary — the romance is in the trim, not the cut.
The skirt is where tradition comes back in, with a classic patterned weave and pretty braid at the hem. A plain apron sets it off, and simple buttons do the closing.

THE TRENTINI BUILD
Stabilising boning at the centre front holds the shape. Generous seam allowances at the sides, centre and waist mean it can be altered and re-altered — built to last years, not a season. Double-stitched seams, ruffles worked by hand.
Fit note: a dirndl should sit skin-tight. Blouse and accessories not included.
