You'll find us at CA Dirndl Haus inside Old World Village in Huntington Beach — our sister boutique and the home of our trachten in California. Eleven festivals run through the village every year. Here's what's on the calendar.
The 2026 season.
Irish Fest
Eat, drink, dance, be Irish. Old World turns Bavarian-green to emerald-green for ten days of Irish music, Guinness, and the kind of party that ends St. Patrick's Day.
Spring Fest
A five-week celebration of the Bavarian Frühling — flowers in bloom, beer in the biergarten, and Easter brunches in the village courtyard.
Wurst Fest
Nine days of exotic sausages, beer, and the brassy din of a real German biergarten in May. Bratwurst, weisswurst, currywurst, and a few you've never heard of.
Soccer Fest
Six weeks of World Cup-style watch parties at the village. Imported beer, German food, and a hundred TV screens tuned to whatever match matters that day.
German Heritage Day
A single-day celebration of German-American culture — flags flying, Schuhplattler dancing, and the village in full traditional dress.
Pretzel Fest
Sweet pretzels, savory pretzels, beer-soft pretzels, pretzel sandwiches. Live German music and a full week of one of the most underrated foods on earth.
Bier Fest
Old World's beer sampling festival. Imported German lagers, pilsners, weissbiers, dunkels, hefes — poured by people who know what they're doing.
Plum Fest
The 30th annual Pflaumenfest — German plum cake, plum brandy, plum strudel, and a weekend tradition that's older than most of the village.
Oktoberfest
The biggest event on the calendar. Three months of authentic Bavarian Oktoberfest — bands flown in from Munich, dirndls and lederhosen everywhere, and the kind of energy that built the village's reputation.
Christmas Markt
Seven weeks inside a real European Christmas village — candlelit, cobblestoned, and tucked into Southern California. Our biggest event of the year.
Wiener Dog Races
Old World's beloved monthly tradition — dachshunds in lederhosen, sprint races down the village's main thoroughfare, and a crowd that comes for the dogs and stays for the brats.
